Ophthalmic Technician

Seeking a professional Ophthalmic Technician with 2 plus years experience excelling in Refractions; lensometry; keratometry, tonometry and additional testing such at Visual Fields and OCT. This is a full-time or part-time position.

Perform technicial workups - preparation and calculations for cataract surgery as well as occuloplastic evaluations.

Requires good understanding of ophthalmic practice and patient care and excel in communication with patients as well as co-workers.

Requirements include successful completion of JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Technician requirements - COT preferred but not required.  Experience with electronic medical records (NextGen a plus.).
