Our VSPOne Optical Technology Center network consists of nine laboratories across the U.S., including Hawaii, that cater to doctors and our members, delivering the best in ophthalmic products and producing exceptional laboratory services under a single brand. Tasks and Responsibilities
Formulate and implement strategic, effective business plans addressed to the needs of individual accounts to retain their business with VSPOne Optical Technology Centers.
Cultivate and develop strong business relationships with VSP doctors and their staff; educate and advise them on industry trends and new lens products to impact their business decisions.
Maintain extensive, up-to-date working knowledge of existing and new products/services and other general information to ensure accurate information for customers, and act as liaison between VSPOne and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met and exceeded.
Collaborate with marketing and product development to address customer needs and analyze market data.
Document sales activity and monitor account growth.
2+ years of outside sales experience.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Broad knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and coatings a big plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated track record in meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility with outside sales.
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time; clean DMV record.
